As a member of US Family Guide I received tickets to the show for my immediate family in exchange for sharing about the program, the coupons, and a review after of the performance. I will be honest in my review and opinions!

logoMy husband and I took are two kids to see Disney Live! Three Classic Fairy Tales! at The Centre in Evansville on Sunday. We went to the noon show, and it lasted about an hour and a half including a 10 minute intermission.

The three fairy tales are: Snow White, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast. Each one is a short and sweet telling that hits all the major points. For example, Snow White: huntsman, dwarves, apple, and first kiss. Your basic favorite parts and songs as well. I cannot help but sing with Beauty and the it!
Here are some favorite moments I captured!

I will warn if you have younger kids they use some bright flashes of light and a scene with lightning flashes that I heard little ones crying after. The lightning was a really cool effect, but if you have one who’s afraid of storms you may need to step out for that part during Beauty and the Beast fight scene at the end.

There are plenty of souvenirs to buy as well. Be prepared that your kids are going to want the cotton candy with crown (Yes..I bought one), the drinks in princess cups, or various light up toys and Disney merchandise.  This happens at any event you go to directed for kids.

Final Thoughts
My kids really liked the show. I don’t think my 10 year old son wants to admit it, but he has always enjoyed watching performances. It’s like a movie, but better! My daughter, who is 5, kept whispering parts to me like “the apple make Snow White go to sleep”. It is a fun show for the family. I’m still singing “Be Our Guest” as I go through pictures.
