What originally inspired this was my hoard of bottle caps I have. The Hubs drink Coke Zero, and I enter the codes at My Coke Rewards. I couldn’t bear to those these all away. My inner crafter was saying to keep them for future craft projects. That inner crafter is a wise lady! 😉
The Girl loves to play games, but being almost 5 and not being able to read can be a challenge. I love doing things for the upcoming holiday or season. It took a few days to think of a St. Patrick’s Day game for kids.

Thinking black bottle cap and St. Patrick’s Day it hit me….Pot of Gold!

So here is the my St. Patrick’s Day game, Follow the Rainbow in pdf form.  Follow the Rainbow Game

You need one die, and pot of gold. I just used a cap and stuff in a little scrap yellow fleece. A yellow pom pom, cotton ball, or paper would work as well.

This is a quick game to play, you follow the colors of the rainbow to get to the leprechaun. I made the game in Word with the Shape maker, color gradients, and text boxes. followtherainbowThe leprechaun was drawn in Paint mainly with shapes and pasted into the game.
