We are done potty training our youngest and let me tell you I’m thrilled to not to have change diapers anymore after 7 years straight! The downside is public bathrooms…I’m kind of a germaphobe (think that’s part of being a Mom). My oldest is a boy so public toilets are normally not a problem, but now I have a girl. That’s a whole other story. My almost 4 year old even though she’s quite tall for her age she’s too small for the grown up toilets. I had been bringing a folding seat (which anymore is just too big to carry), so now I hold her or have her put her hands down, but eww on a toilet seat? So before anything out comes my pack of cleaning wipes (which are in a baggie after a leakage incident all over my checkbook!). Even then she’s touching the front of the toilet…that’s not much better.
With a toddler you don’t have a lot of time to wipe down the whole toilet, and in those stalls you barely have room to stand in there with one.
I got a chance through Tomoson to connect with PottyCover Amazon Best Seller (#1 Selling prodcut in its catergory 8/11/2010). They make disposable (do throw it away..don’t flush it!) toilet seat covers.
I finally got the opportunity to try this when we went to eat last weekend. First thing I love how small it is. This is a package of 6 and each is individual wrapped..so small, but not too small you can’t find it in your purse.
The only tricky part I had was opening it..the back side is plastic and creates a waterproof barrier between the seat and the fabric top. That sticks together a littler but still faster than the wipe down and folding seat set up.
I was impressed it covered the seat perfectly!! None of the seat was showing. I didn’t think to take a picture there so I did a reinactment at home to show the covered and size of this thing!
I think this are great to have and even if you aren’t potty training (I’ve got an 8 year old) these are nice for any age child to use in bathrooms!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
